For an inexpensive helmet it's great.
It is real cool and nice helmet.This is very good value with four sensors,i can see the welding arc clear when doing tig jobs. When it arrived,i was impressed for this welding,real nice.Packed very strong. It came with carry bag,several extra lens protectors and one extra battery. Seems i can use it for more than 2years. The multi-band headband is perfectly adjustable for comfortable fit.Seems more value than what i get. Very easy to adjust the grind,cut,weld from outer control. The screen is quite big with true color function,very comfortabl for eyes. I real like it.

I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about the headgear, I have zero complaints about anything in this welding hood. I love the large viewing window, easy to adjust settings, weld/cut/grind modes work great. The true view gets rid of the traditional green tint of welding shades. It makes it much easier to see what you are welding. If you are on the fence about buying this hood I highly recommend it. It came with a nice storage bag, a manual that wasnt too horrible, an extra battery, and a couple extra clear lense covers. The finish was impressive, the decals are clear coated on. Have had several hours of arc time with it and have not had any issues with my eyes, have got the settings dialed in how I like them and will be buying a second one for work.
A few caveats. I'm strictly a hobbyist, I haven't owned this helmet long, and this is my first auto darkening helmet. The visibility, clarity and response of the lens is impressive. I can't do a hands on comparison...but based on features vs price...I find this helmet an astonishing value. It's bright and clear enough to use for chipping and grinding. In fact, you can defeat the darkening feature and use "grind" mode. I had it in "weld" mode and actually had it activate on me several times from the tiny sparks coming off a Dremel! So you can adjust the sensitivity and be pretty confident you won't be flashed. I find this helmet very comfortable. It's light weight and has an extremely comfortable head band. I've looked, and just about every helmet with comparable features is at least 2x expensive. Haven't had it long enough to speak to it's longevity...but I'm impressed with it so far.
