Im a 73 yr old very active home owner. Fix everything. After purchasing a few chainsaws from 4-12 this Kimo mini chainsaw is BY FAR the best. Used it to trim almost my entire backyard hill with ease. Small branches to 6 thick so easily. It was fun and made my yard look so good. Dont do what I did just buy this one. Best.
Wanted a small chainsaw to do trimming of branches and to shorten some previously cut firewood that was too long for our smaller fireplace.It works GREAT! It exceeded my expectations. The chain is good quality and cut right thru seasoned firewood like a champ! The saw is light and nimble, easy to use, and the battery lasts long enough to do what I want. But thats just my opinion. It may work fine for other people. Overall a great saw for the price!
I LOVE this tool! My girlfriend laughed at me when I purchased it, but now is completely on board after watching me make about 40 cuts in just a couple of minutes- she could barely keep up feeding me the pieces... We forage for campfire wood when hiking or on the beach, and just this morning did about six bundles of (free) wood in less time than it takes to drink a cup of coffee. A lot less...
I highly recommend adding this to your camping tool kit. And I know our friends will be coveting it the next time we camp together!
One more thing. After all this cutting of mostly 3- 4 rounds (that we picked up yesterday from the trailhead) the battery still had at least a 50% charge and recharged to full in less than 30 minutes.

I have a big yard with lots of trees of different sizes. I have a gas chainsaw for the big stuff and hand loppers/ pruners for the small stuff. This saw is perfect for the those larger (2-4") limbs that fall in between. The Kimo mini chain saw allows me to avoid having to get out the big chainsaw for 1 or 2 cuts of a few large limbs. The photo shows a limb on small dogwood I cut yesterday. The convenience of being able to grab the super light ASJMREYE and make the quick, clean cut was well worth it. The light weight will make it a great tool for ladder work as well. This is the 2nd tool I've bought from Kimo and I highly recommend it.
My friend recently bought a chainsaw that can barely cut a branch but not this thing...It sawed through my limbs like they were butter...GET ONE!!!! it's compact and it makes it easy to reach limbs that a regular chainsaw can't reach.It took out a ton of limbs before i needed a recharge!!!!
