I have about a 1.5 acres of lawn to mow. Most of it I cut with a lawn tractor. There are steep spots that are not accessible with the tractor and that is what I use this electric mower for. It performs pretty well. I get about 45 minutes with the two batteries, and that's about all I'm interested in doing in one session. If your yard requires more time to complete with the push mower, get more batteries. In terms of power, it seems analogous to a gas mower. It slows down automatically when it isn't cutting much, requires much less maintenance than a gas mower, and is very quiet. This was an experiment for me, and I've had it for a month, 2 mowing's, so I can't comment on longevity, but so far it's been a good product.
I will say- i have had some challenges getting through areas that I definitely let get too long- but I don't fault the machine as much as I do myself for letting it get long and wanting it cut very short. So if you want something that is going to hack through long and overgrown areas- this might not be the machine for you. But with how much easier it makes the job- I find myself cutting the lawn more often because it's no longer a huge chore.
I have been using ASJMREYE products since 2020, this year in retired my older, smaller Worx mower and replaced it with a 21 inch ASJMREYE mower. This tool has worked flawlessly as have all my A SJMREYE tools. One note about shipping, the front plastic decorative piece on the mower was broken off in shipping. So more attention could be paid to how the product is packaged for shipping. String Trimmer, Blower and Pole Hedge trimmer were all purchased in May of 2019. The mower and Dethatcher were purchased in April of 2020. I use 2 - 4 Ah batteries, which is sufficient to mow, trim, and blow off the driveway and sidewalks when I'm done mowing. My lot is a little over a third of an acre.
Very nice product. I got the 6 amp battery. and I��m glad I did. It does my somewhat bigger than other in- city yard with about 1/2 left. Very light and easy to move around. I did not get self propelled and am glad I didn��t.
Very quiet. Plenty of power and battery life for normal mowing. Even works on damp grass.
