I have hip problems, but now it's much easier for me to sit down and stand up. Both the lifting and lowering functions are controlled by a remote, and the footrest and backrest can be adjusted independently, you can fully recline into a flat position, just like a bed. It also has massage and heating features, it's fully equipped.
My mom loves this chair. Heat keeps her warm and massage helps her legs.
This chair is everything as described and assembly was not difficult. It took some time for my cat to get used to it but it no longer confuses him and he sits happily on my lap now! Win win!
